Gluhwein (Hot Wine)
  • 3 bottles Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 6 cups apple cider
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 oranges (2 1/2 juiced, 1/2 sliced and floating in wine)
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 6 tbsp Mulled Spices Mix 

Pour wine, apple cider, honey and orange juice into a large pot. Stir together and then drop in cinnamon sticks, orange slices and mulled spices pack. Place the spices in cheesecloth and tie together with kitchen twine to make a spice pack. On med-high, heat the wine until almost ready to boil. Then turn to low and simmer for 20 mins. Serve with an orange wedge. Could also be done in a crock pot on low until hot.
